Feeding Instructions:
Feeding your baby with Holle Stage 1 formula is easy, and we’ve provided detailed instructions to help you get started.
- Always wash your hands before preparing the formula. This ensures that the formula stays free from any harmful bacteria that could make your baby sick.
- Sterilize all feeding equipment before use. This includes bottles, nipples, and any other equipment that will come into contact with the formula. You can use a sterilizer, or simply boil the equipment in water for 5 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool down to approximately 50°C (122°F). It’s important to use fresh drinking water, as this ensures that the formula is free from any impurities.
- Add the desired amount of water to the bottle. The amount of water you add will depend on your baby’s age and appetite. We’ve provided a feeding table below to help you determine the right amount of formula to prepare.
- Using the measuring spoon provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder to the bottle. One level scoop is approximately 4.6g of powder. It’s important to use the correct amount of powder, as this ensures that your baby gets the right balance of nutrients.
- Close the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved. This ensures that the formula is mixed evenly and your baby gets all the nutrients they need.
- Check the temperature of the formula before feeding to ensure that it is not too hot. You can test the temperature by placing a few drops on your wrist – it should feel warm, but not hot.
